Logan Shults - CSA Head Coach
I started this journey at 16 years with zero guidance, at 18 years old an IFBB pro offered to help me and never responded to me again. I can’t help but wonder where I would be in this journey had he followed through.
So why do I do this? I do this to help people achieve their goals and become better versions of themselves. But where my heart lies is with those young guys and girls who love working out but have no guidance. I love helping them avoid the mistakes I made and helping them navigate the waters of their fitness journey. Where ever that journey may lead whether it’s sports, bodybuilding, or even to be the best version of themselves possible.
I started my journey at 16 years old after a football coach told me that if I quit playing I would get fat and lazy. Then and there I decided that I was going to do everything in my power to prove that coach wrong. Shortly after I fell in love with bodybuilding.
Fast forward 9 years later and I stepped on stage for the first time in 2018 only to get third place with a subpar physique for the NPC. For the first time in my fitness journey, I learned the true value of eating a regimented plan and that’s when the real progress started. It was at this point that I started to check all the boxes and put in the work but just like any journey and just like any habit that you were trying to build they were hiccups in the road. So over the next two years, I built a physique that I could be proud of it was nowhere near the level of a national stage but it was enough to get me a win at the 2020 Phil Heath. At that point my motivation was so high that I was 100% on for the next year there were some minor hiccups around the holidays but that was it everything else is spot on. I then went to my first national show replaced 13th out of 38 and at this point, I had added about 20 to 25 pounds of stage weight and my physique started to look like maybe I have a future in the sport. Now my journey continues and I’m doing the work every day eating every meal training hard doing all of my cardio sessions to be able to say that I earned my IFBB pro card, When that time comes.
